Directions

From Rome

Rome is the closest major city to our venue, and has the cheapest flights from NYC. If you fly into Rome, we suggest not making Rome your first city in Italy, especially if it's your first time in Italy ever! Terni and Spoleto are lovely places to stay, about 30 minutes from our venue and easily accessible via train or car.

Car

Driving is the easiest way to get to our location and the best way to see all the small hill towns near our venue. Please note that you will need an international drivers permit, which is very easy to obtain. See our tips on driving in Italy here

In Rome, we recommend renting at the airport or outer Rome as the city can be extremely difficult and stressful to drive in.

Another great option is to take the train to Terni or Spoleto, and then rent a car at the local Hertz which is walking distance from the station.

Train

From the Rome Airport

Take the Leonardo Express Airport Train to Roma Termini. The train departs about every 20 minutes. You can purchase tickets at the machine or online. For this train, it may be better to purchase at the station, in case your flight is delayed. Remember to validate your ticket! See our travel tips for more info.

From Roma Termini

Trains to Terni leave about every hour. If you go to Spoleto, it is the stop after Terni on the same train line. Again, you can purchase tickets online or at the station machines. I highly recommend purchasing online for this one, as trains can sell out and the machines are only at one end of this very large train station.

Be aware that you will be going through tunnels on this train, so your ears may pop! Bring some gum and remember to validate your ticket! See our travel tips for more info.

From Terni Train Station

From here you have a few options.

 - Taxi: There is a taxi stand at each train station. A taxi from Terni would cost about 22-26 Euros and take about 25 minutes. From Spoleto, it would cost a few Euros more and be a bit longer of a car ride.

- Rental Car: If you are renting a car with Hertz, exit the Terni station and with the station behind you, walk down the large road to the left - Viale Curio Dentato. See map below for reference. There is also a Hertz 1 block away from the Spoleto train station.

- Bus: With the train station behind you, walk to the left to the Bus station. Take either Bus E433 or Bus E621 to stop Sr209. From there the walk is abut 20 minutes to the venue. We do not recommend this, as buses in Italy can be very confusing and the walk is most likely uphill.
